Aero-tee Rewards Golf Courses for Recycling Golf Tees...
Environmentally-Friendly “Keep Greens Clean” Program
DATELINE: PLYMOUTH, MA... Aero-tee, based in Plymouth, Mass. has recently announced their environmentally-friendly “Keep Greens Clean” recycling program which encourages golf courses to return their damaged/non-functional tees to Aero-tee for proper disposal.
The durable, break-resistant Aero-tee, a polycarbonate, tooth-shaped golf tee designed by South Shore dentist Dr. Venanzio Cardarelli, is made from a type of polycarbonate and designed to last unlike throw-away tees. Aero-tee’s “Keep Greens Clean” recycling program appeals to pro shop managers and superintendents of golf courses to recycle their non-functional Aero-tees and receive FREE replacement Aero-tees to give to golfers. The Aero-tee is available online at www.aero-tee.com.
Aero-tee’s new program encourages golf courses to collect used, non-functional Aero-tees from staff, members and guests, in an effort to help maintain the beauty of the golf course. All recycled Aero-tees will be collected from participating golf pro shops and replaced at no cost, so golfers may continue to enjoy the performance of the Aero-tee.
“Our ‘Keep Greens Clean’ program favors the golfer picking up the used Aero-tee and returning it to the club. Not only will this help maintain the beauty of the course and reduce maintenance cost, participating courses are rewarded with merchandise,” noted Joseph Santelli, co-founder of Aero-tee.
For golf courses’ environmentally pro-active efforts, Aero-tee will replace the old tees as well as provide additional discounts on wholesale purchases. Additional free Aero-tee merchandise will be donated to participating golf courses to give away for promotions.

Aero-tee has proven to perform better than the wooden or other plastic tees when tested by Golf Laboratories, Inc. of California. Mechanical test results have proven Aero-tee to be the best in overall performance, exceeding the standard wooden tee and it’s plastic tee competitors in distance, loft, accuracy and roll. Aero-tee’s “Roots”
The unique Aero-tee was invented by Dr. Venanzio Cardarelli, who practices dentistry in Braintree, Mass. and resides in Plymouth, Mass. Dr. Venanzio Cardarelli, Aero-tee’s designer, joins the ranks of other dentists who have made an impact on golf tee history. In 1899, the original golf tee was designed by a Boston dentist, Dr. George Franklin Grant, and the one currently used, was patented in 1924, by a New Jersey based dentist, Dr. William Lowell.
The patented Aero-tee’s unique Aero-dynamic design allows an airstream under the ball. Aero-tee’s attributes include: Three point minimal contact to minimize resistance; tri-fluted design for better ground penetration and stability; side notches to serve as reference points for measurable placement adjustments; and a stem length which allows for individual ball height preferences.
Dr. Cardarelli designed the Aero-tee to work well with conventional sized and over-sized driver heads.
Aero-tee has received official notification from the United States Golf Association (USGA) that their tee conforms with USGA rules.
The Aero-tee is available for purchase online at www.Aero-tee.com.
Aero-tee also offers flexible programs for small and large retailers, tournament sponsors and golf schools.
