Company description::
Invented by Maurice Bouvier of Nanaimo, British Columbia and developed over the last three years before it’s introduction, the PocketSaver received great reviews and generated a lot of interest from many sectors of the industry, ranging from major club, component and accessory suppliers, to large distributor companies and the promotional golf products industry.
Created as a solution to the task of a golfer searching through their pockets or golf bag for the small game tools needed throughout a golf game, the PocketSaver places all of the small equipment at arms reach by acting as a personal small tool caddy that attaches to the belt of the player or can be hung on the golf bag. The flexible plastic “holster” holds and comes packaged with two tees, a golf ball, divot tool and ball marker.
Greg Stolz, VP of Marketing for PocketSaver Products Inc. says, “ We realized upon development of our product that not only could we provide a benefit to the golfer on the course through the products convenience, but discovered that we had also developed a perfect medium for corporate purchasers to relay their logo or message by providing the option of three imprint areas on the PocketSaver. With our product being worn on the users hip or golf bag we have the ability of providing a great marketing vehicle for our distributors corporate clients through its full game visibility”
PocketSaver Products Inc. also wanted to provide a benefit to course owners that would encourage players to fix divot marks on the green. “By allowing the player to easily grab the divot tool from the holster as opposed to having to find it amongst their equipment we hope that proper maintenance of greens by the players that use them will be encouraged”, states Maurice Bouvier.
PocketSaver Products Inc. will be exhibiting the innovative tool again at the PGA Golf Show in Las Vegas this coming September.
